Columbia, SC – Big Daddy Guns endeavors to work with local partners to aid the communities we serve. In our latest outreach effort, our store in Columbia, SC hosted a rifle raffle to benefit the Big Red Barn Retreat (BRBR).
According to their website, the Big Red Barn Retreat, “offers integrated practices, training, and programs that allow Heroes to thrive. These integrated practices are alternatives to traditional treatments; and are provided to veterans, active duty service members, and first responders at little to no cost to them.”
The proceeds were presented to the BRBR to provide funds that will help put Veterans and First Responders through the Warrior Path Program, which provides aid to those struggling with PTSD.
Co-founder, Sherrie McKnight shared, “This cause means a lot to me personally because I have seen the first-hand effects of PTSD with veterans in my own family. If they had and/or participated in resources such as these while they were alive, there may have been hope for a better outcome and help with their mental health and well-being. I applaud those engaged in such a worthy cause.”
