Gainesville, FL – On March 21st, 2023, two Big Daddy Guns locations – Gainesville,
FL and Ocala, FL – filed for chapter 11 reorganization. However, those stores are operating as
usual and will continue to provide the best service for our customers. It’s our utmost priority to continue to honor customer’s orders and remain a strong partner in our communities. We
kindly appreciate your support as we resolve this.
Realistically, this will have little effect on the two locations, and all of our other stores remain
entirely unaffected by this filing as well as our e-commerce platform, Big Daddy Unlimited. And despite several attempts to work with and settle with creditors, their actions were taken with
severe malice and in poor faith. The decision to file was after consideration as the best way
to resolve numerous liabilities to various creditors . The fact of the matter is that this will allow our organization to plan for the future health and well-being of the business and provide the
necessary resources to keep us successful and provide for our other creditors. We will keep
everyone informed of any updates as they occur.
